Thai Akha Cooking School is run by Akha people born and raised in Thailand. Originate from Tibet, Akha people are indigenous hill tribe. There are now 80,000 Akha people living in small villages in the mountains of Thailand. Akha people have their own traditions, culture, and beliefs, different from the rest of Thailand, as many hill tribes do.
Akha Food is different from Thai Food and is much healthier and fresher. Using basic, healthy ingredients you can find at home, Akha food is the perfect choice for vegetarians.

Thai Akha Cooking School, Chiang Mai.

Thai Akha Cooking School offers Morning and Evening Cooking Class, and also a tour to visit the local fresh market. Students will learn how to make appetizer dishes, stir-fried, curry and curry paste, and a soup.
Courses will be conducted by English speaking Akha/Thai teacher in their outdoor covered kitchen in a lovely Akha/Thai culture atmosphere. And you eat what you cook in their air-conditioned dining room.
