MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum is an art museum co-founded by Eric Booth and his stepfather Jean Michel Beurdeley. The museum showcases hundreds of works that their family and Eric’s late mother Patsri Bunnag collected over the last three decades.
Bolstering Chiang Mai’s already vibrant art and cultural scene, MAIIAM aims to make the co-founders’ important collection of Thais and regional contemporary art permanently accessible to the public.

Located in the district of San Kham Paeng which is a 20 minutes driving distance from downtown Chiang Mai, the museum mounts long-term and temporary exhibition of visual arts, design, fashion, alongside performances, film screenings, education programs, and workshop to engage a wide spectrum of audiences.
One of the most striking features of MAIIAM’s architecture that has become a source of first impression for many is the mirror wall that arches over the front area of the museum.

The temporary exhibitions focus on local and international artists. Works are displayed on the ground floor galleries. The exhibitions change every four to six months.
